One part of your daily Highlights pulls directly from the three values you set on your profile, so you're not waiting on an algorithm to guess at what matters to you, it's already working from what you told us directly.
Alongside that, we also surface members who overlap with you in other ways, age, job, location, education, hobbies, for the connections that wouldn't necessarily show up through a values search alone.
A Highlight generally stays available for about a week before it's replaced with someone new. It's worth reviewing your list regularly, rather than letting your daily picks pile up unseen.
