I grew up in Europe and moved to the US when I was little. I love traveling, learning languages, and exploring new cultures. I moved to New York a few years ago for grad school, which I just finished last year. I still think there's more to explore in NYC, so planning on staying here for the time being. During my free time I like to do anything cultural - exploring old neighborhoods, museums, interesting talks, and finding the perfect dive bar. I also equally enjoy spending time outdoors in nature when I can get away from the city.
I love food, but I'm not an annoying foodie! I really enjoy cooking, wine tasting, and exploring new restaurants - everything from food trucks to fancy restaurants. I have a list of favorite spots in Manhattan, but also find the Brooklyn scene to be very interesting, and Queens has the best Chinese and Thai I've ever had.
I consider myself energetic, easygoing yet goal-oriented, and intellectually curious. I appreciate sarcastic and witty humor, nerdy interests, and dorky tenancies! I'm also very good at trivia - especially Michael Jackson related.
