Oscar Wilde wrote, "It is a curious fact that people are never so trivial as when they take themselves seriously." There is a time for seriousness, of course, but in my life it is rare.
Words describe one's personality about 50%. It's actions and living examples which clinch the deal. Words that I would pick to describe myself are compassionate, quick, funny, loving, capable, fiery, competitive and fun. I'm extremely kindhearted, calm during a crisis. I unashamedly cry during sad books/films and am never afraid to be the first one out on the dance floor. I'm not yet sure I am the jump-out-of-a-plane sort of thrill seeker, but I have my motorcycle license and am always up for testing boundaries.
I absolutely love excitement and surprises. No matter how small. It's the little things that matter and show someone how much you care.
Nashville is a great town. I went to university there and miss the live music scene. I am new to town and would love to find the secret local hot spots for bands around Seattle.
I am fiercely loyal. I love my family and would do anything for them. I always have had and will always have animals in my life. I would never pass by an animal in need. I've been riding horses before I could walk. That is a huge passion of mine. I am always looking for a place where I might jump a few fences.
Photography is a hobby of mine. I always have a camera on hand. I also have a keen interest in art and architecture.
As far as drinking is concerned, wine or beer are of equal importance to me, but I prefer Strongbow. My favorite is sparkling wine or champagne. I recently toured some champagne houses in France and was quite interested in the whole process. I've been known to open a bottle while cooking, which is something I love. Cooking relaxes me, but is also something fun to do with someone special.
I've been very fortunate to travel to some amazing places in my life. I've lived abroad and I am now back in the States.
I grew up on a farm in the midwest baling hay and cleaning stalls. Dirt, blood, grime and hard work do not bother me at all. Any spider, however, can make me run faster than a Superman can fly. That being said - culture is extremely important to me. Finding that balance is key. I also own an extensive collection of high heels and love to dress up and go out. I'm pretty much equal parts tomboy and lady...and always up for anything.
My checklist is rather simple. I'm looking for adventure, fun, laughter, kindness, and excitement. Let me know if you'd like to show me around 'your' Seattle. Cheers!
