I'd say I'm ambitious and want to do great things with my life. But I'm also laid back and try to genuinely enjoy each day of life.
I grew up enjoying learning in school, and math was always my best subject. I also loved television and movies as I child (I watched Full House and Saved by the Bell everyday). So as a grown-up I guess it's no surprise that I'm a Finance professional who writes scripts, does improv, and acts on the side. I enjoy both, and one day I'd like to find a way to bring them both together in my career.
In life, I enjoy having goals to strive for - both professionally and personally. I like having people in my life who are positive and make me laugh. And I enjoy getting out and socializing and seeing all the fun that exists in Chicago - checking out an improv show at iO, going to the Lincoln Park Zoo, seeing a jazz band up at the Green Room, trying a new restaurant with friends, or doing anything else that seems like a fun time, I'm in.
I don't have a "type" of girl - that term just seems strange to me, like girls are picked off of manufacturing lines or something, "I'd like the XYZ type please, thank you". But the qualities that I've found I really appreciate in a woman are an easy-going, comforting, and warm presence. A genuine sense of humor - whether it's silly and goofy, or witty and sarcastic, or maybe all of the above - if you make yourself laugh, you'll probably make me laugh too. A positive outlook in life. And good family values (maybe this is my Full House upbringing coming back to the surface, who knows).
My perfect first date would be anything where we can enjoy our time together, get to know each other, and share some laughs.
Also, I've heard most guys lie about their height on here. I refuse to lie and say I'm 6'0". I'm a real 5'11".
