I'm going to keep this short -- I read a quote I liked the other day and it summed things up very succinctly. "I want what all men want. I just want it more."
I grew up in the suburbs of DC, lived in Boston for 5 years while in school, and then moved to NYC. After working in finance for a few years, I started an investment company and I help people understand and manage their investments. I enjoy life in the city, I like to have fun and I'm pretty open-minded about finding new ways to do it. I love people who are similarly enthusiastic about life, who are happy, and want to see and experience the world.
"Monotony collapses time; novelty unfolds it. You can exercise daily and eat healthily and live a long life, while experiencing a short one. If you spend your life sitting in a cubicle and passing papers, one day is bound to blend unmemorably into the next—and disappear. That’s why it’s important to change routines regularly, and take vacations to exotic locales, and have as many new experiences as possible that can serve to anchor our memories. Creating new memories stretches out psychological time, and lengthens our perception of our lives."
