I am a relatively serious guy though I am laughing and cracking jokes all the time. I can listen for hours and discuss any broad range of topics. If there is a history channel or nova special on it. I probably know about it and seen the episode twice. Apart from being a documentary junkie, I probably spend most of my time watching HGTV and Food Network.
I have a Mr. Fix It mentality. If I can learn to do something without a great deal of pain and effort, I will do it myself. For harder jobs that require pure brute strength, I employ my friends who are always happy to help. Even if I have to bribe them with beer and pizza.
For being a serious guy, I am constantly laughing and smiling. At work which is where most people are the most serious, I am pretty light. Usually I tell bad jokes something akin to "Hey, if you need something. Don't call." It's probably not the best thing reputation wise but I work hard and always get the job done.
I don't actually know what I do for fun. I am really content and am up for anything. I am up for an evening in to watch a movie or listen to an album. When I say album, I mean a vinyl one. On the flip side, I go out to bars with friends and like trying new restaurants. Fortunately, I travel for work so there's always a new restaurant to try.
I exercise, probably more than I need to for my Asian metabolism. I lift and do martial arts. In total I think I dedicate about 8 hours plus to working out a week. (I just did that calculation right now, kind of scary)
I really like the arts. Going to galleries to look at things I can't afford seems to be the thing. Haven't been to MFA in a while, probably should go and renew my membership. Theater, classical music, ballet, modern dance. They are all cool with me. I got bit by the dancing bug a few years back and learned how to salsa (rueda) and tango.
I think I am shy. People say that I am not. I am really direct and straight to the point. Example: I won't like your picture or favorite you and not send you an email. Does match still have a poke? What's a poke? Why can't you email someone? I firmly believe that there is only so many things on someone's profile that you can email about so let's have a non committal drink (alcoholic or otherwise). It'll take an hour of our time and worth more than 10 emails.
Thanks for reading.
PS. I have a preference for Asians.
