The beard, yeah, it's just for fun. Usually it's a lot shorter but for some reason a couple months ago I forgot to keep shaving. Then a chance meeting of long stuble and a flannel shirt lead to a comment by some friends about lumberjacks...which put an idea in my head about a photo shoot that I still have yet to do. Why I mention all that is because nowadays when I meet people the first thing they do is ask about the beard.
So, moving on from that to stuff about me...
I've led a pretty nonconventional life. Graduated from university then moved to Japan where I lived for almost 7 years, first teaching English than doing international marketing for a company there. Got tired of certain aspects of living there and moved back to Milwaukee where I became a partner in a nightlife magazine for a year. My time at the magazine brought to the surface a passion that had been lying dormant for some time, photography. I left publishing to follow my my passion.
I love travel, I love adventure, and I love a good challenge. I hate people who talk a lot but do little. I've met more people like that then I care to mention. I have big dreams and every day I'm working to make them a reality. I like to think of myself as complex but not complicated.
I moved to the Minneapolis/St. Paul area recently and am looking forward to see what this city has in store for me.
