I'm an easy-going guy who likes sports, challenges, and hanging out with friends and family. I'm happy with where my career is right now, but I just haven't seemed to have any luck meeting 'the one'. The girls that I've met at bars have been... let's just say... less than stellar. One of my co-workers got married to someone she met on match and recommended I give it a shot... so... here I am.
Just a little about me: I'm tall (6'3"), funny, nice, smart, confident, and driven. I'm really easy to talk to and can make a conversation out of just about anything. I was raised in a blue collar home (pops was a cop and moms was a teacher), but after college, found myself in a white collar job. I owe my parents a lot for everything they've done for me, especially my sense of responsibility, creativity, truthfulness, and work ethic. I'm Catholic but haven't really gone to church in a while. I work out at least 3-4 times a week and think its important to stay in shape. I moved here from Wisconsin about 7 years ago and love what the DC area has to offer. I love going to sports games, movies, restaurants, or just staying in and chilling by myself.
I tend to gravitate towards rock and emo music (Slipknot, Brand New, Five Finger Death Punch, Teitur, Nirvana, Rise Against, Box Car Racer, NIN, NOFX, The Get Up Kids, JamisonParker, Matt Nathanson, MayDay Parade, The Morning Of, Our Last Night, Paramore, Radiohead, Relient K, Senses Fail, Taking Back Sunday, etc... just to name a few from my playlist). I also like action, comedy and horror movies (the Rockys, the Die Hards, The Wedding Crashers, The Bourne series, Shawshank Redemption, The Dark Night, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Descent, etc.). I love going to sports games... especially Nats games!
As far as what I'm looking for in my match... I'd like her to be nice, smart, confident, have a sense of humor, and have a good heart. Having a good heart means that you don't lie and you always try to do the right thing no matter how hard it may be. Oh, and please don't be too crazy. I know that ALL girls are crazy, so on a scale of 1-10, please don't be any higher than a 6! I've had my share of the crazies and don't want to add to the list of horror stories. It would also be a huge plus if you're Christian as I would love nothing more than to raise a family in that environment. Lastly, if you can cook, I'll be a big fan and promise to return the favor :)
