Hi there! I've spent a long career on the road, with client work all over the US, living abroad and traveling for the fun of exploring this great big world. After having cheetahs climb on my jeep, working at orphanages in Cairo and Siem Reap, swimming Iceland's Blue Lagoon, wearing an octopus as a hat in Bora Bora, playing snow soccer with Inuit kids and napping on the beach in the Galapagos it's new for me to be a local. I love having roots in Htown now. Life's an adventure and I make the most of every day.
When It comes a relationship I hope to find someone with a great sense of humor who is honest, fun, knowledge-seeking, happy and comfortable being themselves in all settings. Character is the most important word to me, followed closely by humor and intelligence. If you like travel, concerts, cooking and being outdoorsy/athletic then we're on the same page. If those are at the top of your list too, we're golden. Mixing in new stuff is great as well! I believe in doing what's right simply because it's the right thing to do, being happy and polite should come naturally. Working on my Eagle Scout as a kid really hit that home and I see no reason to change that foundation. Bonus points if you quote movies. Your pet will love me because I smell like bacon.
I'm big on hobbies and personal enrichment. Other things I love include photography; nitrox scuba; time in the Rockies; golf; soccer; anything outdoors like camping hiking, beaches, biking; cooking/grilling/smoking/frying (major foodie) and going to Texans/Stros/Dynamo games. Downtime is with friends, rooftop movies at my house or relaxing in my hammock. Hammocks rule. I fully invest myself in anything important, work, friendships, relationships... if it matters it gets my utmost attention. Music is my soul, I listen to everything and love concerts. If I really like you you may get a mixtape, it's a dying art that I will continue to uphold. Added the skydiving pic since everyone else has; more crazy plans ahead: bungee jumping in NZ, climbing Kilimanjaro, diving the GBR, skiing something larger than the bunny slope and trying to watch an entire chick flick without finding an excuse to leave like elective invasive surgery (but not Titanic, sorry). And that's how you make a run-on sentence.
While most are looking for a spark, I'd rather find a second bonfire. Figuratively and literally I'm looking for someone I can run with. Ludicrous speed, GO!
