I just moved back to Silicon Valley recently to become general counsel of a high tech company. It's hard to meet people in a new city outside of work so I am hoping to find some new friends from here for outdoor activities, sports, dining, intelligent conversations, fun etc. I am casual and easy-going, a good listener and like to make people laugh. I am a big sports fanatic and enjoy working out pretty much every day, whether it be weights, jogging, basketball or ultimate frisbee. I am also a ferocious reader so let me know if you have good book recommendations.
Here is my 30 second life story: I was born in mainland China, moved to the US when I was eight, lived through three Minnesota winters before moving to California nirvana, graduated from Stanford with dual degrees in Computer Science and Political Science (was Modern Thought and Literature the first two years though), worked as a software engineer for a bit before doing the law school thing, then slaved away in Los Angeles before coming back to Northern California. In between I have some good stories to share with you.
If you share the same types of interests and are kind enough to save me from purgatory (which in my case is too many microwave dinners), drop me a note.I hope to find someone who will first become my best friend, who can laugh at my wackiness, share my curiosity at how things work, discuss issues intellectually and voice her own opinions.
