I enjoy living life by the seat of my pants. Sunsets are better than sunrises. I like the ocean cold, the air warm and dry, my steaks medium rare, and my scotch on the rocks. Salty air is a must-have, seconded only blue sky. Perfect knee-high surf is better than choppy and overhead, and wind at your back is always better than in your face.
I surround myself with interesting people and I am gregarious by nature. Sarcasm is a must. Yes sir, no sir, please, and thank you are staples of a gentleman, and a voicemail deserves a phone call in return, not a text. Period.
Family and friends are the most important to me: they know you best, they are the ones who pick you up when you're down and the first to congratulate you on a job well done. A person is lucky to have five people in the world to call good friends, and that makes me the luckiest man alive.
I am sincere, loyal, and I love to cook
I am a true San Diego native, helicopter pilot turned attorney. I managed to escape a degree in engineering to find my way into the cockpit to fly professionally for the last 13 years. I traded my helmet bag for a load of case books a few years ago, and am beginning a career in law. I still fly part-time. My eyes are open. "Learning for a living," was certainly liberating, but I am stoked to not be a student anymore and return to the human race with a big boy job. I am having a ball and learning a ton.
The girl I am trying to discover makes me laugh. Conservative lifestyle, but loves a money-is-no-object night on the town just as much as a night on the couch or a picnic at the park. She’ll go sailing with me. She takes pride in her appearance but doesn't mind that crispy, salty, post-surf session cup o’joe while the feeling comes back to your toes. Someone who challenges me to be a better person. Someone who likes me for me.
