Where to begin....While most people have awesome talents, I am filled with useless trivia knowledge, especially about the music industry, and can play Name that tune with MOST top 40 hits and classic rock. I can juggle!. 80's pop culture holds a special place in my heart. I play a mean steering wheel drum, and participate in my own car karaoke concert DAILY. I have received many looks for this behavior...then again, who wouldn't?! Without fail, anytime I listen to "Where the Streets Have no Name" and "Fix You" chills are immediately sent up my spine.
If I had to describe myself using Disney characters, four reflect a bulk of my personality. 1) Tigger- the infinite amount of energy. 2) Mulan- She pushed the limits both of her and her counterparts, walking to the beat of her own drummer, and holding onto a faith no one had seen before. 3) Stitch- learns family is one of the strongest bonds anyone can hold, at times misunderstood (ie. Ugly Duckling Scene), mischievous, one of those individuals who no one could quite figure out, but most importantly the owner of a big heart. Not to mention the love for the beach! 4) Merida- Her goal is to embrace who she is by not conforming to traditional gender roles in ancient Scotland. In that time, she not only learns about herself, but her family too.
NON-METAPHOR- Hmmm, I would describe myself as an introverted extrovert who is too overly active for their own good, and somehow finding that balance we all look for in live. I lived in Australia and caught the travel bug, and since then have been in search for the next big adventure. Numerous people have said I'm a "good" person, including one of my athletic role models (still trying to wrap my head around that one), but prefer to shy away from the credit, because there are many other people who are responsible for the result. For those who know me best, would agree there is never a dull moment. :)
