I've always known who I am and have known what I want and who I am attracted to.
To state it succinctly, I'm looking for someone who is "imperfectly perfect for me!" Someone who will compliment me, yet find my imperfections lovable and endearing and vice versa.(Sometimes, I can be dense and most would swear I was a natural blonde!). Who wouldn't want the type of companionship that actor Paul Newman and his wife, Joanne Woodward had until his passing? That is what I want!!!!
Complex, yet simple, I am a romantic and wear my heart on my sleeve. I feel emotions strongly, am direct & to the point, & these qualities are what give me the fire and passion that fuels me. I would much rather take a chance and get hurt than to play it safe and wonder what might have been..Also, I'm a genuine and down to earth, low maintenance gal that is impressed by the little things in life! What you see is what you get (ok, maybe I have a few surprises up my sleeve!).
I find that words beginning with the letter "I" describe me well: impish, intense, intriguing, intellectual, intelligent, inviting, introspective, intoxicating, impassioned, irrepressible, inquisitive, inspiring...
Ah, but, there's so much more yet to be discovered.....and, the best way to discover who I am is to spend time with me....Anyone up for the challenge?
Words of Wisdom I try to live by:
~Date a man/woman you love to talk to. In time, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
~ When you say, 'I love you,' mean it.
~ When you say, 'I'm sorry,' look the person in the eye.
~Believe in love at first sight.
~Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.
~Love deeply and passionately. You might get hurt but it's the only way to live life completely.
~In disagreements, fight fairly. No name calling.
~Don't judge people by their relatives.
~ When someone asks you a question you don't want to answer, smile and ask, 'Why do you want to know?'
~Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.
~When you lose, don't lose the lesson.
~Remember the three R's: Respect for self; Respect for others; Responsibility for all your actions.
~ Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.
~Most importantly, laugh until it hurts!
