I was born and raised in Virginia and attended college outside of Washington, DC. I lived and worked in Washington, DC prior to moving to Southern California over six years ago. I do not miss the hectic lifestyle and traffic one bit, but I do miss my family and college friends at times and try to make it back at least twice a year to visit them. I can't complain about my lovely little San Diego lifestyle since I am able to spend most of my time outdoors surrounded by beauty. I live downtown in Little Italy and love the sense of community and being able to walk everywhere.
I love traveling near or far, so I have to go somewhere at least 3-4 times a year. Looking forward to a couple hiking trips this year to see the Redwoods in Northern, CA; Zion National Park in Utah and do a little hiking around South America this Summer/Fall.
