A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away I ripped off movie quotes to begin my profile. Luckily I think I have matured since then and am slightly more original. If nothing else the experiences that have brought me out here have been varied. I served in the Army for a few years before studying Economics and Statistics in college and coming to the realization that I am a nerd and find them both reasonably entertaining. Interesting tidbit: 70% of all statistics are made up on the spot.
After graduation I spent several years working in financial derivatives for a large firm in Chicago, became a pilot, traveled for several months, and recently moved to San Diego to become an entrepreneur and work on a master’s degree.
I like to keep a more laid back lifestyle then my existence in the aforementioned foreign galaxy (Chicago), spending free time reading by the beach, hiking, and camping. Despite this I can’t help but retain my achievement/adrenaline junkie roots and am always enticed by a new challenge, place to explore, or topic to learn. Most recently it’s been paragliding and training for the tough mudder. I’m very into fitness since moving here and really enjoy both the physical and psychological benefits of consistent exercise. I’m also fluent in English and Sarcasm and enjoy the variety of expression both languages offer. What can I say, banter is fun. I’m typically attracted to smart, motivated girls with good grammar and an independent streak, and am looking for someone who enjoys some adventure.
