I grew up in Indiana and moved out here to Cambridge for school. Since then I've switched sides of the river but otherwise haven't lived anywhere else. I'm still a laid back Midwestern guy but have at least figured out how to drive around here, and it didn't take long to become a Sox fan. I love to travel, listen to music, and do things outside (skiing, camping, boating, hiking). I have a job I really like at a pharmaceutical company in Cambridge--I'm not a scientist myself but spend most of my time thinking about ways to help them do their jobs. I get to travel to some good places (SF, London, Switzerland, China) and work on a lot of interesting projects. I love to travel for fun too, whether it's to a beach, out west for some skiing in the powder, or a weekend road trip to Maine for some lobsters. I try to stay active--I played soccer in college and like to pretend I've still got it in some of the leagues around, and I play some other sports and workout too. I love to cook and couldn't live without my grill, and I can make you a really tasty burger. I usually have music on, and it could be anything from reggae to classic rock to newer alt and indie rock or some jam bands. I'll listen to pretty much anything though and usually have Sirius Alt Nation on in my car, and I think music is best when it's live. I went to SxSW in Austin for the first time this year which was amazing. What am I looking for in a date? Some common interests are a good starting point, but different experiences and perspectives keep things interesting, and I'd like to find someone I can learn from and who will keep me on my toes. I'm looking for someone smart and ambitious who likes to travel and see new places, maybe at the last minute, as well as someone who values staying active and eating right as I do. And hopefully you'll like what I cook, which isn't tough because it's all delicious of course. Send me a message if you want to chat.
