I've accomplished a lot in my life. Raised 2 children who I love and adore, and I am now a grandfather of three. I graduated from The University of California Riverside and earned a Masters Degree in School Administration from Cal State San Bernardino.
I taught for 30 years at both the College and JHS level. At the college level I taught Communication Studies classes ,while at the JHS level it was mostly teaching History Classes. I have been retired since June 2009 and love my free time. I was elected to serve as a school trustee for a 25,000 student High School District in Southern California back in 1976. I was reelected seven times and retired after 32 years of service in 2008.
In Sept. 2009 I moved out of California and bought a new home in the Summerlin area of Las Vegas. Just this year I completed the purchase of a home in St George UT. and my son is living in that home. Although I now live in Las Vegas, I spend time in both Rancho Cucamonga where my daughter and my grandchildren live. I am also spending some time in St George UT. which provides quick access for travels to Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon....
I was married twice (32 years total), and I have now been single for 6 years. I should add that I am not bitter and harbor no hard feelings toward either ex. I know very well that my life is so much better than many who are far less fortunate. I am (knock on wood) healthy, have good relationships with family and friends, and I am financially secure. If I wasn't happy with my life I would be the problem lol
My interests are varied. I love to travel and have been taking 3 major trips a year since I retired. I just returned from a 10 day New Orleans/Western Caribbean cruise...Already booked a 14 day Italy/Greek island tour/cruise for Oct 2013 :)
Another interest in Art and History. While on my trips I have bought some great art for my home. Decorating my home to fit my feel and interest is another important aspect of my life...
I enjoy listening to great music and my tastes are varied. Las Vegas is a great place to do this and I am admirer of such great artists as the Beatles, Simon and Garfunkle, Styx, Chicago, REO Speedwagon, Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Coldplay, The Fray, Green Day, and of course Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra.
I am also interested in politics and government (I majored in Political Science). I have been a registered Democrat all of my life and consider myself more liberal than conservative. I, however, have many conservative friends and I would never allow politics or religion to get in the way of a relationship. I am not one to argue as I see no value in winning such arguments, we all believe what we believe for various reasons, and so long as you do not try to change me, we will have no problems on any of these issues...
I was raised Catholic and went to Catholic schools for 11 years. I am not a practicing Catholic and do not belong to any organized religion. I believe in following the ?Golden Rule?, and treating all people with respect and kindness.
I live a very healthy life style. I work out 3-4 days a week. I eat healthy and would like to find someone that mirrors the same life style.
Let me conclude by saying I am a very affectionate man when in a relationship. I love to hold hands, cuddle while watching a movie, I will give you the best back and neck rub you?ve ever had....I am 100% Italian, and I do believe those genes have made me the affectionate man I am today....
