I am a pretty laid-back guy who enjoys a good laugh. Currently I am working on a masters degree in the field of religious studies with plans of going on to get my PhD afterwards and the plan is to become a college professor. Don't worry, despite my interests in religion I have no need for anyone to adhere to a specific faith or anything like that, I would appreciate others to have as open a mind as myself and that's all I can really ask.
I have very eclectic tastes in movies and love talking about almost anything. Although I am definitely a nerd. I play video games, I love fantasy, sci-fi, comic book heroes, and of course professional wrestling.
One thing I think it is important to know is that it is impossible to know someone else's experience. Certainly we can learn more about others but at the end of the day we can only know our own experience and while that can be frustrating to accept at times, I think it makes life fascinating. Knowing that I will never fully understand someone else's experience makes it that much more interesting to be around them and learn more because there is always more to learn about another person.
I'm not always so philosophical, I really like to keep things down to earth but I can get lost in my own thoughts at times which then leads me to kind of go off on weird tangents in conversation. In another person I am looking for someone who has their own goals and has the passion and drive to pursue them. I am looking for someone who can be my partner in crime and best friend who is able to challenge me.
