Even my best attempt to present a serious demeanor, I have been characterized as a 'goofy' person, and am very easy going. I enjoy being active physically, and trying something at least once. Looking for someone who is easy going, sociable, and has a sense of humor to visit the improv, or to deal with my corny jokes.
So to avoid the usual description here is what I like to do:
Fitness: I enjoy crossfit, maybe a bit too much. I work out five times a week at a local crossfit gym, and have decided to join an indoor rock climbing gym close to work. Crossfit has been awesome, and has really lead me down a path to what is probably the best shape in my life. Now that I am in better shape I found myself signing up for events such as Tough Mudder or GoRuck.
Work: Professionally I enjoy pushing myself. I decided it was time to push myself and I took a job in which I teach a class with no more than 24 students. Commute is long but I'm happy with the direction I'm headed.
Personal life: I enjoy music from a wide variety of genres. I primarily listen to a salsa station based out of Miami via iHeart radio, but I think Kanye West has two of the best songs out there. Besides that I'll watch Shawshank Redemption or a Morgan Freeman/ Denzel Washington movie any day of the week. I play flag football, kiteboard, mountain bike, and hike around the city in order to train and opportunity to people watch.
What I am looking for: I'm looking for someone who is strong, confident, and with a great sense of humor who can absorb my dry humor. I am not the type of person who would be embarrassed to accept the fact that my significant other earns four times more than me. I am the type of person who will accept their position, keep my work life, and then head to Nordstrom's to buy a pair a new blazer because I understand that the mortgage is covered.
