It seems like out of nowhere I woke up one morning, looked down my hairy calves and realized I realized that I was 26 years old. What do my calves have anything to do with that you ask, absolutely nothing. My point is that I am not getting any younger and after seeing countless friends find their significant other I too am looking for that special bond to share with someone. The fact of the matter is now that I have a 9-5 job and many of my friends are off the market its just really hard to meet new people out at night and truly get to know them.
What makes me so special??? I consider myself a very down to earth person that is comfortable in their own skin. I try to treat everyone with genuine kindness & respect. I am someone who loves to engage in an intellectual conversation ranging from origins of the universe to the benefits of single euro bond...alright I'll stop right there. If I won the lottery I would spend the rest of my life traveling world and by a ski house or two. Recently I have traveled to China twice, Hawaii, Canada, Panama & Costa Rica. It really is a humbling experience to get out and see the world and experience a completely different way of living and thinking. I absolutely want to continue traveling around as much as possible. My dream vacation at this point would be to go on a month long Safari in Africa, but also wouldn't mine hitting up some beaches in Thailand or Indonesia.
I grew up in the DC area, and went to college at Virginia Tech. I have a 9-5 job at financial company in Tysons Corner that is kinda blehhhh, but its job, For fun I tend to stay very active physically. I've played hockey, baseball, basketball, football, golf, but my latest new discovery is something called disc golf (its not Frisbee golf). I even dabble in some Bikrum yoga action every now and then, good god that is a workout. During the week I stay pretty quiet, usually either reading, watching tv or a movie. Recently I have been taking a Chinese class at a local community college just for fun. I wish I could be paid to be a full time student. On the weekend I usually go out with my friends. I try to stay away from Georgetown as its just a bit to preppy for me, but love the U Street scene and Old Town. I also am really into all kinds music (going through an electronic phase right now), but as long as your not huge country fan I'm we can find something we agree on. I also love going out to eat to good ethnic places. My favorites are Thai and Indian and prefer my dishes as spicy as possible.
What I am looking for in somebody is someone who is genuine and down to earth and up to experience new things together. I am looking for somebody who wants to make a serious connection, not saying that's going to happen right off the bat through some emails online, but hopefully your somebody who is looking to make a deep connection as well.
Well if you read this far your probably one of several so thanks I guess haha and send me an email if your interested or have any questions!
