Some things about me. I refuse to kill bugs with a tissue or my shoe. My vacuum is officially a bug graveyard. When I see a lucky penny on the street I leave it for someone else. I'm a vegetarian... but don't worry! I will cook meat for you as long as I don't have to touch it! I will not be offended if you sit down at dinner with a big steak. I have a younger brother who did a great job at desensitizing me to that sort of thing! (I should probably thank him but why give him too much credit?!) I also love football... I'm a die hard Bears fan and know what's going on when I watch the game.
I have a wonderful group of friends and see them often. I also grew up in the Chicagoland area so most of my family is around here. It's not uncommon for me to end up at my parents for dinner at some point during the week. I'm also really close with my cousins and try to hang out with them as well. I think family is so important! I should also mention that I have a small dog (25lbs). Her name is Millie and she comes as a package deal. She's great with other people as well as kids.
My vocation is a consultant and expert witness. It's pretty difficult to explain so if we begin to chat I can go into more detail. I love what I do but it keeps me busy! During the week, I have a set schedule but try to keep most nights open. I also try very hard not to work on the weekends. I take my career seriously and always look for ways to improve. I would ask that my partner not only respect my drive but also encourage me along the way. I would do the same in return.
I try to stay active by working out 3-5x a week. I also walk the dog at least 2x a day. I would hope that my partner would also like to stay active.
Some things I'm looking for: someone who is emotionally and mentally mature. I'm looking for someone who is comfortable talking about his feelings and expressing emotion. I tend to give 110% in a relationship and would hope that it is reciprocated. I am very goal oriented and hope that my partner sets goals both personally and professionally.
