Let's see...about me. I'm originally from MA and currently live in Boston (Southie/ Dorchester area). I am very happy with my life, I am actually very happy in general; however I am one of the very few single friends left in my circle. I don’t have specific expectations, rules or timelines on finding a relationship. In fact, I’m not looking for “a relationship”. I am looking for a partner in crime, and after having dinner with an old friend recently, have realized that finding someone who is similar to me will be challenging. Apparently, (according to my friend) I am a complete mix of things that you either are or you are not...a mixture of Type A, B and C personalities. I am very outgoing and social, but at the same time shy and reserved in certain situations. I am a daredevil and love to jump at unique opportunities in life that most people would not even consider doing. I am also very stable and appreciate being grounded. I am very sarcastic and have a quick tongue, I’m usually the mastermind behind pranks and jokes, but at the same time can be very considerate and genuinely care about the wellbeing of those I surround myself with. According to my friend, I need someone who is grounded and has their stuff together, but at the same time is a risk taker. Someone who is caring and loyal, but will also keep me on my toes and keep me guessing. I need an extrovert and introvert all wrapped into one. He was actually much better at explaining it, and our conversation was pretty funny…however as I type this I know that it doesn’t sound as good as I had hoped!
I am very laid back (really, I have references from plenty of friends who are amazed at the amount of nonsense I can take, all in good fun of course). I love music and concerts and will rarely say no to see someone live. Last few concerts were Allman Brothers, Mumford and Sons, Foster the People and My Morning Jacket. I really love to take advantage of the fun things in life; I'm the first one out on the dance floor and absolutely love getting the chance to hang out with friends, both old and new, as long as laughs are involved. I was lucky enough (maybe it was a mixture of luck and determination to take advantage of every opportunity put in front of me) to live in several states including Arizona, Florida and Colorado as well as backpack for over a year throughout England and Europe. I go back to Florida to visit quite a bit, and would love to be able to see a lot more places in the future.
I would more than welcome the chance to hang around with someone with a good sense of humor, respectful, open minded and easy going. Uptight, pretentious and ignorant are a few things that don't mesh well with me. Here are a few random facts about me:
1. I spent months working on a Sheep Farm in England and had a pet lamb named Sweet Pea
2. I am addicted to strong coffee, like the kind that will put hair on your chest (not mine hopefully)
3. I love to dance
4. I frequently go to concerts by myself and they turn out to be amazing random experiences
5. I “J Walk” (this turned out to be a problem in the past with someone)
6. I seriously consider applying to be on the show Whale Wars and want to become a Sea Shepard
7. I hate Mondays
8. I love foreigners
9. I go to Crossfit and can’t wait to be able to do an unassisted pull up
10. I like going out for drinks
