Born and raised in the south by two northern parents. At the age of five I asked my dad who won the Civil War. He looked down at me and said 'we won, you lost.'
I come from a deprecating family. It works for us.
My parents are still together and are two of the smartest and funniest people I know.
I'm one big recessive gene: Red hair, blue eyes, left handed. In ancient times I would have been burned at the stake.
I've been in New York off and on for 13 years with detours in SF (I thought it'd be bigger) and Ann Arbor (Go Blue).
I swam in college and still race on (a rare) occasion. I love playing tennis and will run when it's warm(er).
I have no patience for vegans and little for vegetarians.
After many years in tech, I started a car service that caters to families with kids (car seats in every vehicle). It is both more and less interesting than it sounds.
What I'm looking for:
I need someone that is FUNNY (likes to laugh and can make others laugh), educated, and cares about things (the 'thing' matters less than the caring).
On a final note (because it may or may not matter), I was married at 26 divorced at 30. Great girl, just didn't work out (she got custody of the west coast, I got custody of the east). We've maybe spoken 2-3 times in the last nine years, but there's no ill will on either side.
