I’d consider myself an urban athlete—always looking for a good physical challenge and a sense of accomplishment, but running is my true passion. I enjoy an intellectual challenge as well, especially a good conversation. My friends tell me I use the word “excellent” more than the average person...I think my frequent use of it probably reflects my optimistic attitude.
I recently went on my first solo vacation which was also my first dip into the Caribbean. Always looking forward to my next trip, whether it be for work or (hopefully!) vacation, and I’m always accepting destination suggestions.
Above all, I really enjoy spending quality time with quality people, and once I decide you are worth it, I'm incredibly loyal.
I’m really good at listening and giving advice to friends, remembering things (I can recount conversations almost verbatim years later), and being straightforward (I'm told that I tell it like it is). I'm insatiably curious, so I'm very good at asking questions. I also have a pretty dry/sarcastic sense of humor, so I'm pretty good at making people laugh. I love to cook and try out new recipes—my experiments usually turn out well, I think.
I'm a voracious reader—I read anything as long as it's not scary. Related, I watch most movies, as long as they're not horrors. My music tastes vary, but I can most often be found listening to neo soul and other mellow music, and I’m always looking for new tunes and recommendations. I enjoy most types of food, but have an affinity for Indian and Ethiopian.
I don't have many restrictions in a match — I'm basically looking for a friend above all else, with whom I can be completely comfortable, and who will be completely engaged in both the fun and serious moments. And being interested in outdoorsy, active stuff would be a big plus. Interested?
