This is a new adventure for me. I never thought I'd be wading through the online dating scene, but I figured it's time for me to lunge myself into the 21st century! It's difficult to sum myself up in exactly 250 characters without sounding like a car salesman (or woman) but here we go...
I'm a high school photography teacher which brings me to my first important attribute. As you can probably imagine, I'm extremely patient :) I adore what I do and enjoy the rewards and challenges I face everyday. I would consider myself easy-going, but not in the "lay on the couch and watch tv all day" way. Life is short and I don't waste time by sweating the small stuff. But I will fight for what's important. Most people describe me as silly and I enjoy moments of third grade humor. I guess in my line of work, it's unavoidable. I enjoy adventure and am willing to try anything, (as long as it's legal and doesn't involve the consumption of things that are creepy and crawly.) I would love to have the opportunity to give to those less fortunate and have been looking into international volunteer opportunities. I consider myself kind, low maintenance, family oriented and accepting of others.
In my opinion, the fun in this online dating thing is getting to know people. I have no expectations. At very best, I meet someone and at very least, I meet great people. I consider it a win-win situation.
