I'm a single mom using online dating for the first time looking to have someone in my life who believes in trust, honesty, loyalty and love in a relationship just as much as I do. I'm sure the words "single mom" have already scared off a good number of potential men, which is well taken. But for those of you who may still be interested, please take note that I am NOT "that girl" who is surrounded by drama nor do I have "baby daddy" drama. My son is a product of an 8 year relationship which had formulated into an engagement. This to say, I am a believer in long term relationships and once engaged in one, I apply every and all effort in being caring, loving and supportive; also making sure I don't lose myself in the process.
I'm a very laid back individual with a great sense of humor who is simple in nature and enjoy the company of family and friends. My friends would describe me as goofy, loyal, loving, compassionate, intelligent, supportive, giving and trustworthy. I'm looking for someone who can make me laugh but knows when to be serious and is never affraid of being himself. I believe it is important to not only be able to find that someone but it's even more important in having that someone be your best friend.
I look for someone who isn't affraid of showing love, being loved and wanting to build on that love. He must be willing to accept when he's wrong and trust in the fact that I will not judge him or his faults. I for one know that I am no where near perfect so with that reality I have to face the fact that there is also no perfect man out there. Being able to accept our faults and grow together as a couple is key.
