For starters, I noticed that a lot of people's profiles seem to strongly convey that they belong to one group or another. People seem to be nerdy, artsy, hipsters, cyclists, musicians, etc. So I guess the first thing I want to say is that I don't really belong to one group or another and that I enjoy doing a bit of everything. I like art but don't want to spend every weekend in a museum, I like to go on the occasional hike, be crafty, go to concerts, TRAVEL, learn how to decrease my carbon footprint but I also don't fit into the conservationist/hippie box either, whatever that is. I lived in Argentina for a year and a half and am completely bilingual, although I do understand Argentine Spanish much better than other dialects of Spanish. I love learning about other cultures and traveling to other countries with a strong proclivity towards Latin America.
I guess I've never really felt that I belong anywhere because I get along with so many different types of people and have had some pretty diverse/unique life experiences. That tends to be something I look for in a partner: someone that can identify with adversity yet has an optimistic outlook on life and knows how to handle themselves around lots of different people/situations.
