We value the world's issues, and not just our own. We are forces as two, but stack well as one. You show up when least expected and not just because I like surprises. You know that intensity and passion are elements to contain, but you have a hard time managing it...and you wonder if you will ever find someone you don't have to hold back with. You like being the force behind why things grow. I care intensely about the things that I care about...I think everyone should...but we should try to never force those passions onto others. Belief and opinion are often never paired with patience or sound reason. Its tough to have both passion and patience, but I would like to think we (you, and me) are ahead of the curve.
I used to go to different clubs and lounges in DC a lot...but different levels of graduate school put a pause on that...now its just an occasional happy hour and a desire to find someone worth spending more time with. "We" would like to paint our town whatever color we choose, however.
Music is very important to me. So is every form of Eggs Benedict. I have a strong connection (emotional) to some orchestral and piano sounds, vocals and stringed instruments (even though I can only synthetically produce them...and neither very well as of late), very particular electronic music (“progressive” trance, jungle, deep house, EBM, Industrial), some rock and some hip hop, some west-asian or middle eastern, and most things with percussion sounds...and while I'm on the subject (emotional connections)...hard-to-cultivate plant life (and people), introspection, extroversion, sporadic dance, statistical rigor, therapeutic techniques, temperate and desert climates, exotic cultures and people.
I tend to fall (very very far) for dark hair and dark eyes, olive skin, introverts (especially the closet extroverts), sharp contrasts, passion, open minds, emotional dreamers, curves, healers, thinking feelers, and girls who play piano. I like subtext, honesty, temporary shyness, and intensity. I sometimes get (happily) lost in people.
