The best way to describe myself is to describe a typical first date with me ... It would involve a helicopter ride to my yacht on Catalina Island, sipping on champagne and covering our hands in expensive caviar and feeding my heard of cats. This would most likely be followed by my staff of scuba diving butlers catching our dinner as we lounge around playing Norwegian scrabble and quilting. Reading the dictionary by moonlight would be a great way to end a terrific night. If that sounds like your typical first date we will probably get along very well.
I am a Midwestern guy at heart, but I love the lifestyle here in San Diego. I grew up in Minnesota and lived in Boston for 10 years before moving out here about 11 years ago. I am trustworthy, grounded, honest and caring, and am thankful that my Midwestern values have stayed with me. I believe that the little things in life are sometimes the most important, and my goal for my life is to lead a good, happy life. I like coffee shops and live music, dive bars and runs on the beach. My sense of humor is pretty sarcastic and I think we should all laugh at ourselves a little more.
Like everyone else, I love the outdoors ... skiing, hiking, beach volleyball, camping, half and full marathons. I love the ocean ... swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving ... I find it very therapeutic and magical. And I do yoga about once/week. I am laid back, but I try to keep life interesting with new activities and challenging myself. I love to travel and have traveled extensively both in the US and internationally. I don't think we should take every day things so seriously, life is meant to be enjoyed and laughed at. And I really appreciate directness and honesty.
I would like to find someone who likes the outdoors, appreciates nature, isn't afraid to try new things and likes to travel. Someone who can get a little silly but is also able to hold an intelligent conversation. A woman who likes to be active but can also relax for hours at the beach or a coffee shop. Someone honest who knows who they are and what they want out of life and relationships.
