I have been living in the U.S. since 1999 (born and raised in India) and about to become a citizen. Can't wait to throw a huge citizenship party after I swear my allegiance to the star-spangled banner.
I own and run an embedded systems consulting business and live in downtown. I work a 50-hour week and spend my free time pursuing my hobbies - practicing my Spanish, Salsa, swimming, movies, tv and cooking. I am learning to bake - and enjoying the adventure.
I am a social drinker and do not smoke.
I am an avid public radio listener and a news junkie of sorts. I try to travel abroad at least once a year and when I vacation I go for a good mix of adventure, touring and relaxation, part planned, part spontaneous.
When it comes to friendships, I have a small circle of trustworthy, lifelong friends - who have been there when I needed them most.
I believe in moderation in just about everything in life. But on the other hand (I have five fingers like every one else :-) when it comes to matters of the heart, I go all in.
I am looking for a friend, companion and partner to share my life with - someone to walk with - not in front of, not behind - but along side. She is intelligent, independent, looks forward to life, kind, caring, happy, respectful of my family, warm at heart and has compassion for the less fortunate. I am looking for someone who brings out the best in me, someone who makes me feel like I am Superman, someone I can make laugh and someone whose smile alone can cheer me up when I have had a bad day. Interest in physical fitness and recreational sports is a definite plus. I am looking for a serious, committed relationship built on friendship, love, trust and respect which hopefully over time, leads to marriage and starting a family - so yes, I would like to have kids. I would love to hear her input on how to expand my business or which tie to wear for a client meeting. I would also enjoy setting up her surround sound or pick out a cocktail dress for her.
To this amazing woman, I am willing to give everything I can and even a few things I can't ;-) to be the love of her life and joy of her smile.
