It's much more fun to get to know someone in person, so I'll just give you the cliff notes... for now.
I value experiences over things and I'm a quality over quantity kind of person. I'm adventurous and confident and I love to learn. I'm endlessly curious and creative and find inspiration in the natural world, photography, film and design of all kinds. I'm playful and young and heart, you can usually find me hanging with the kids at any family together or BBQ, I adore my niece and nephew. I'm sarcastic. I'm a caretaker. I can be reserved when I first meet someone. I'm trying to be more present in my life, and to unplug and slow down. I sit at a desk most of the day so finding time to be active is really important to me, practicing yoga, going for a run, snowboarding or hiking helps me to stay sane. I like to eat healthy, and I enjoy cooking, although I rarely put too much energy into cooking for myself. Sharing a meal and a few bottles of wine with family and friends is my favorite way to connect with the people I care about, and I'll go all out when it comes to dinner parties. An engaging conversation is a turn on. I enjoy spending time alone. I like to challenge myself physically and mentally. An afternoon spent reading is the most relaxing way to pass the time. Traveling is one of my favorite things and some of my most memorable and unanticipated moments have happened while exploring a new place. Like the time I discovered a hammerhead shark swimming next to me in Tortuga, or when I nearly got heatstroke at a cockfight in Santiago, fending off monkeys in Gibraltar or ascending Mt. Rainier under a full moon and cloudless sky. My life is a collection of eclectic experiences that mean the world to me.
I am honest and I look for the same quality in a mate. Someone who is kind, adventurous and confident. A positive, easy-going guy who is genuinely interested in other people and the world around them. I don't expect that we'll have all the same interests and it's more exciting if we don't, I'd love for you to show/teach me something that your passionate about.
