Of-course this is the most fun part. As part of the growing up process I realize more so now then before what qualities are truly important for me in a person. Above all, I value honesty/loyalty. I think they are two sides of the same coin. I notice I get along much better with happy upbeat people. I do my best to stay positive (ofcourse we all have our bad days), but I would like to meet the type of person who wouldn't drag me down...no one likes a gloomy Gus ! I could go on ranting here forever, but before this profile becomes an autobiography shoot me a message if you feel like we would get along well. I won't bite :).

In Your Trench
How pleasant life is when there is peace,
Sustaining friendships would seem like a breeze,
Perhaps it is wise to make a short list,
Whom in your trench would you want to enlist?
When the foe comes, will he surrender?
Is he warrior or another pretender?
How will he function under duress?
Will he be there when you’re in distress?
Is he a man or something below?
Is his blood red as yours, how does it show?
Should ever you falter; will he have your back?
If push comes to shove, will courage he lack?
Is he an ameba, or does he have a spine?
When doing his squats, how bright does he shine?
You better be certain, you better be sure,
If worst comes to worst, will he endure?
Would he betray you over a girl?
Or does he value your friendship more than a pearl?
If death’s all around you and he can’t handle the stench,
Then he’s not the person you want in your trench!
You best be assured loyalty’s his forte,
As Ceasar said dying - “Et tu, Brute?”
Is he cunning or does his word carry weight?
You better find out, before it’s too late!
With his back to the wall, his teeth will he clench?
For even in football war is won in the trench.
Upon reading these lines only you can decide,
Who in your trench would you want by your side?

My first poem:
Ode To Her
She’s always there, she’ll never lie,
You do your part and you’ll feel fly.
She’ll challenge you in every way,
But god forbid you ever stray!
She’s giving, wants nothing in return,
About yourself she’ll make you learn,
She won’t deceive or cheat or steal,
Yet agonies she can make you feel,
She has endured the test of time,
Don’t dare cheat; she’ll have your spine!
She’ll sugarcoat nothing, not her style,
Seeing her often is worth your while,
Only the real men make her wet,
But mostly from their own sweat.
Visit her often and you will bloom,
You guessed it kids, she is the weight room!
