I am a very independent, loyal, supportive, nice, athletic, honest chick who will do anything for her friends and family. I am an awesome aunt and I love working with kids for my job as an athletic trainer. I am also a race director for kids races. I don't mind if you have kids and may actually prefer it.
For me a great weekend is waking up on a Saturday morning and going for a long trail run or ride with friends then going out for brunch in Austin; work in my yard or on my house in the afternoon; cook dinner with friends or go out to Austin to try a new restaurant and walk around. I am not a bar person but I do enjoy restaurants like South Congress Cafe, Uchi, Max's Wine Bar. I love the SOCO and 2nd Street areas. I currently live in Buda for the cycling and friends but someday would like to live in South/Central/East (Mueller Dev) Austin.
Traveling and adventure is one of the most important things to me. Favorite spots: NYC for the art museums, plays, Central Park; New Orleans for the food, music, architecture; Big Bend for the hiking, camping and solitude; Utah for the downhill & cross country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking; Belize for the sea kayaking and snorkeling; Paris for the museums and food.
My 12 year marriage failed because I couldn't have kids and because we were college friends that should have stayed friends. I am in no hurry to find the next partner but I do know what I am looking for and will take my time finding the next partner.
My profession involves sports and obviously I love sports but in my private life I choose to focus on other activities like art, music, reading, food, hiking, family, friends, fixing up houses, and xeriscaping. I love learning and would stay in school forever if I could.
Basically I would just like to meet someone with similar interests. If you like Rush Limbaugh, no need to apply;) Been there done that!
