Took some time off the online dating endeavor but I'm back and willing to give it another chance. I am an educated, outgoing, caring, genuine, and driven person. Friends and family would say that I am kind hearted, loving and always willing to help others. Honesty, respect and trust in a relationship are very important to me, as well as a great sense of humor. I enjoy spending time out and about in the action, but I also enjoy some downtime at home just relaxing with a nice dinner and good conversation.
I love children and look forward to having my own family.. Family and friends play an important part in my life. I have one sister and two energetic nephews that I love to spend time with, even though I don't get to see them as often as I'd like. All of my family live out of state so I only see them a couple times a year, BUMMER! I spend 2 weeks every August in Sturgis SD, helping my mom at the family cafe during the motorcycle rally, fun but crazy at the same time. I would like to get out to the Black Hills for something other than Sturgis or the quick holiday trip and enjoy all it has to offer, it has been too long.
I am a sports fan, watching and participating. I enjoy following the Wild (Yahoo, Hockey is back!), Twins and Vikings and try to attend games as often as I can. I like spending time outdoors, in the yard, around the lakes, hiking, attempting to golf (more like long range croquet), skiing (haven't done in a couple years) and I would like to try snowshoeing and snowboarding sometime. I would also like to go skydiving this summer, want to join me!!!
I've discovered I love to travel and take in new places and culture. Most recently I have been to Florida, New York, Vegas and take an annual girls trip to Mexico. Went to Cabo in November 2012, beautiful! I've taken a few Carribean cruises and I was able to take a cruise fall 2011 to Italy, Greece and Croatia with a short layover in Amsterdam. It was amazing but way too short to experience it all. I cannot wait to return someday and maybe experience different areas in Europe.
I'm always up for finding a great new restaurant/bar, some live music or local event.
I do not have a long list of specific, must have qualities I am looking for in a partner. My match would be able to balance work and play, be caring, spontaneous and well rounded. I have learned and believe that as you get to know someone you determine if they are a "match" and having a list of must haves may keep you from meeting someone great. That being said, I understand that there has to be that initial attraction piece. I prefer to meet sooner that later because I feel it is easier to present yourself in person. I am looking for someone with similar interests, who can also introduce me to something new and exciting.
