I like to think that I have a great sense of humor. I find it easy to crack a joke or laugh about something. I am laid back and enjoy to go with the flow. I am not looking for someone too serious about life. I try to leave as much of my seriousness as I can at the office each day - it belongs there. That doesn't mean that I am unable to enjoy some quiet times or something more formal, it just isn't as frequent.
I am divorced, and have a daughter that I see regularly. She lives with my ex, but I go no more 5 days without seeing her.
I was born and raised in central Illinois, lived in Northwest Indiana working in Gary and Chicago for 4 years before moving to Houston for the next 4, which brought me to North Dakota for 5 months before taking me back to Houston since August of last year.
I am looking for someone who likes laughing and having a good time. Someone who enjoys going out on the town just as much as staying in and watching a movie. I would love to find someone who enjoys watching the occasional sporting event, but that isn't a must. It is hard to describe an "ideal" match. I consider myself someone who can get along with most people, but I really have to meet someone to see if there is that spark where a relationship could develop. It is disappointing when you can get along over email/text/phone and then there isn't the same connection when you are face to face.
I would love to find someone who enjoys dogs, as I have a dog who is very much interested in everything I do at the house. My match would like travelling, movies and going out to dinner or for a drink, but doesn't need to be constantly doing something to enjoy themselves.
