First and foremost, I love to dance. I have no inhibitions about getting down to reggae in my room or on the dance floor. I just got into swing, but have taken salsa, Balkan, African and other types of dance in the past. Moving out to Seattle has made me reevaluate my previous claim to being an athlete. While I'm not a fanatic biker or skier, staying active is a huge part of my life. I either run, play tennis, or do yoga to stay healthy. I've hiked and camped in a bunch of our nation's amazing parks and this summer in the Himalayas.
I'm a planner, but can be spontaneously impulsive. I am levelheaded and patient in my interactions with family and friends, although I have a feisty streak that pops out here and there. I just moved to Seattle after spending 8 months in India volunteering at an educational NGO and travelling within India, Thailand, and Nepal. Before that, I lived in NYC for 5 years and taught English to some amazingly sassy teenagers in the Bronx. I loved my time as a teacher and worked hard to uncover the idiosyncrasies that made each child unique. Now I'm working as a Chamber Administrator at a Chamber of Commerce where I help local business owners connect to their community.
I want to meet someone who I am completely at ease with. Someone who I am inspired by and who is a deeply good person.
