I grew up in a small town in west central Minnesota, came to Minneapolis for college, and have been living in the Twin Cities ever since.
I'm a huge Twins and Gopher basketball fan, and a die hard Timberwolves fan. I work just a few blocks from Target Field and Target Center, and one of my favorite Friday activities is getting a couple drinks after work and walking over to the stadium to take in a game.
My hobbies include golfing, running, cooking, and gardening. My current apartment provides about the worst conditions for plants though, and everything I try to grow dies almost immediately. So that particular hobby is kind of on hold for awhile. On the bright side, I'm right next to lots of trails that I like to use 4-5 times a week and get in a good run. I can't say I'm passionate about running, but it's tough to pass up its many benefits and I admit I do get a bit of a runner's high when I finish a race. I'm about the least picky eater you'll ever meet, so I like trying out new recipes, especially on the grill. Can't wait for summer to get here to sit outside and grill dinner.
I've done the Europe backpacking experience twice, but have done little traveling since (outside of work). There are a lot of places within and outside of the US that I'd love to see. If I weren't working, I think one of the best vacations would be to take a long roadtrip and visit as many baseball stadiums as possible, especially if the Twins were playing.
