I'm a San Jose native who lived in San Diego for 5 years (went to college here), then moved to the Midwest for 2 years, and am now back in San Diego for good.
I love tattoos, shooting, and swimming (pool or ocean, I'm a fish either way). I also enjoy just being outdoors in general; hiking, fishing, mountain biking, snowboarding, you name it.
I love music; mostly metal, punk, and alternative, but I'm open to give most anything a listen. Hell, my time in the Midwest even gave me a love of country music, haha.
I'm a total science nerd, and I have a huge passion for learning about how the universe works. My goal is to become an Astrobiologist and search for life elsewhere in the Solar System and beyond. One of my favorite quotes from Calvin and Hobbes sums up my feelings quite nicely:
"If people sat outside and looked at the stars each night, I'll bet they'd live a lot differently. How so? Well, when you look into infinity, you realize there are more important things than what people do all day."
In terms of what I'm looking for, I value honesty, intelligence, and a sense of humor above all else. The bar scene doesn't quite afford the opportunity to meet "quality" people, so I'm giving the whole online thing a go. We'll see what happens, haha.
