I am a self-deprecating, Economist-reading CPA who can create spreadsheets that will blow your mind - if you're into that sort of thing. With those credentials, it's probably no surprise that I ride the fine line between 'organized' and 'neat freak.' I like to keep things clean and tidy, something in which my roommates consistently test my resolve.
Despite all the nerdy accounting work I do, I love the outdoors. I run outside all year round and have taken up kayaking a lot on Lake Washington. As the weather begins to improve, I will start spending most of my time outside, whether its hitting the golf course, reading on the dock, or learning how to water ski. I like cycling and backpacking as well, and I wish I had time to do them more often.
Like most guys, I enjoy watching sports and drinking classy beers. I like discussing today's issues with knowledgeable people that hold different views. My friends and I are Husky football season ticket holders and I'm excited for when we take the boat over to the first game in the new stadium this fall. I also like making obscure movie quotes and can quote you every line from Arrested Development...but that doesn't mean I'm obsessed...right?!
I spent most of my childhood being raised my mom, aunt, and grandmother, and I learned how to treat a lady. This includes the belief that honesty and communication are two of the most important things in a relationship. I also tend to keep an even keel, which helps as well.
In short, I am a caring, thoughtful person and I am looking for a girl to be sweet on. I hope to meet a girl who wants to help me explore the area by checking out new restaurants, going on hikes and bike rides, and sightseeing around Puget Sound. I look forward to racking up stamps in our passports together, and, if she'll watch the occasional sporting event with me, I agree to watch the occasional chick-flick with her...as long as she doesn't tell my friends how much I enjoyed it.
