I don't wink/email a woman without reading her entire profile. I'm searching for more than just a life lesson!

I moved to SD from Chicago in 83. I'm very happy with my career, and don't let it prevent me from enjoying LIFE. I'd consider myself loyal, generous, and very stable in my career. I can easily express my feelings, so I'd value a woman who doesn't hide her feelings and what she truly wants, in life, from me and for herself; someone 100% honest, self confident, and physically fit. I'm very sentimental, sensitive, accommodating and compromise a lot for family, friends, and the special woman in my life. Chivalry is not dead. Helping a woman in/out of a car door, holding doors open, pulling out chairs, walking on the street-side of sidewalks... Isn't that common sense for a man to behave?! It amazes me how that behavior shocks some women!

I see my family often, and spend time with my 2 nieces; before they grow so fast and I miss their childhood. I sing/play ukulele/drums; traditional/modern Hawaiian, Jawaiian reggae music, in 2 halau bands. I also like old school rap and 80's Hip-hop... and Freestyle (Yeah... I said it. Don't judge me. =-P )

Hitting the gym 5x a week got boring, so I started SUP and outrigger-canoe paddling. On vacation, it's snorkeling in Hawaii, or snowboarding in CO or UT. I've done skydiving, paragliding, bungee jumping, ziplining, cliff diving, paintballing, jet-skiing, mountain biking, surfing, SUP-ing, paddling... I'm basically down for anything.

I understand people have an aversion to dating divorced individuals, because I used to as well. Unless you've gone through it yourself, you may not believe there are definite advantages from the life lessons learned; for myself, and for whomever I'm dating. My parents are still happily married, so I strongly believe in marriage and having children, but ONLY when the time is right. Conclusion = No kids, No baggage.. Press Reset; life goes on.
I've met amazing women online. An unspoken truth is, obviously physical attraction is a must-have. But as we both get old and wrinkled, a woman's inner-beauty will never fade away. And the bond we build is what's the most beautiful thing to my eyes.
I'm definitely searching for a long-term relationship. But first I hope you're open to new friendships, because from there, we've both already won.
