ABOUT HIM & WHO HE'S LOOKING FOR

I wish I had enough characters so you could see what I wrote in my old profile but here goes:

My time here is ending at the end of the 1st week of Sept but there are still ways to reach me.

What I'm looking for, someone who is a good complement to me. She has to be smart and have a good sense of humor since I can be a smartass-someone with class and sass. Someone that will keep me on my toes make life interesting - a partner in crime. Also, she doesn't need to go all the time to have a good time because as Danny Glover said in Lethal Weapon "I'm too old for this sh!t!". Most importantly someone that isn't afraid to be honest with me. Now on to me..

I would say I'm sweet, smart, laid back, and introverted. However, after I feel more comfortable with someone and I am very open. I would also say I'm an independent person- a thinker with a natural curiousity and I'm open-minded and hate it when people are closed minded. I'm introspective. - I take time to be alone, because the subtle aspects of my inner world needs silence. I am a native Texan and I really can't see myself leaving Texas, but you never know - some of my most "relaxing" moments in life were on the farm picking up bales of hay.

I was a math major but am not really using my degree in my field. Math doesn't define me, even though I love it, studied math most of my life and was working on PhD in it. Change 78 to the number you get from 34 squared plus 22. I work for a seismic company (oil n gas) doing some pre-processing/quality control...whatever that means. Ask - who knows I might even know what the eff I do... ;-) I'd prefer to do something with more math and programming in my field and I'm going to make that happen soon because if I'm gonna work a lot; I might as well do what I love! :-)

I am a huge sports fan. Don't bother me if I'm watching my Aggies. I can possibly be bothered if I'm watching my Spurs Cowboys or Astros. I started running again and I'm looking for a good half marathon late in the yr. One of the things I loved about running it gave me a chance to clear my mind. I'm working out 5-6 times a week now. I'm a competitive guy so I tend to do things all out like working out or playing games. I played baseball and basketball growing up and I used to be a good bowler...maybe not so much anymore.

I listen to a wide range in music from The Cure, Bela Fleck, the Beatles, DMB, REK, Willie Nelson, U2, Weezer, Depeche mode. I love classic rock, 80s, and country. I generally hate techno/dance and rap. There are some exceptions....I love Clint Eastwood, Robert Redford Paul Newman and John Cusak movies. You'll also find me watching such classics as Blazing Saddles and Monty Python or hoping for a sequel to the Big Lebowski.

In my free time, I generally watch sports cause I'm a single guy but I love live music, movies, reading, bowling, and poker. I like bar trivia but haven't really found anyone that likes to go in the yr I've been here. I don't like to dance but if I ask you dance when were out somewhere then that's how you're special...
