The most important thing about a relationship is truth and honesty. I think in many relationships today, people try to be someone that they are not. They pretend to have the same interests, desires and values just to make that other person like them better. These relationships in my opinion are doomed to fail. I am not saying don't put your best foot foward(first impressions mean a lot). Rather, be yourself while putting your best foot forward.
I look for several things in a relationship:
Looks initially attract you to someone. However it's the personality, intelligence, drive, common interests and values that keep people together.
No one is perfect and relationships are not easy. I also know people change over time. It's how a couple changes together that matters.
I am an outgoing individual who loves to travel, workout, read and be informed. I am a big foodie. I love eating out and cooking. I don't like chain restaurants save a few. I am not afraid to say what is on my mind. I have no problems expressing my emotions. I also am sarcastic. The closest person I could equate myself to is Harry in the movie When Harry Met Sally.
