I'm looking for a hot nerd. My friends tell me that's impossible, but I'm holding out. Someone who cares enough about himself to keep fit, keep reading, keep working. Also, someone who's well read, well spoken, someone I'd feel proud to introduce to my friends and family. Ambitious and cares about bettering himself personally and professionally. He's a loyal friend and if he says he's going to do something he does it. And, he would just happen to think I was pretty funny too.
About me--I'm always doing something. There are so many little outdoor adventures I go on that I'd like to share with someone. I'd probably become even a bit more adventurous with the right guy. I'm often riding my bike (bicycle) out at Lake Mead, Red Rock and love taking the dog on scenic hikes.
Love being on my bike even in the middle of a summer day in Vegas, going for a swim, or a run. But, I don't always have to be working out. Perhaps you could balance me out. I enjoy it all--clubs (at times), great restaurants, hanging at friend's houses, spending time with family, day trips, pools, shopping....Having time to enJOY life is important to me, but I also work hard. In addition to working full time as a first grade teacher, I began a Yoga inspired Fitness program just for kids a little over a year ago.
And, I've got this dog. He's important to me. He's a 65 pound Weimaraner and truthfully, he can be a little annoying at times, but the "good" annoying. He prefers to be part of the pack, is an amazing hunter, great on the trails, swims, cuddles, and is simply part of the package.
But wait, I am still a girl: I can bake, make great omelettes & homemade pizza. LOVE pizza & peanut butter (not together) farmers markets, sweater weather, Pandora, Stevie Wonder & countless genres of music. Hydrangeas and peonies make me smile...just like shoes and Anthropologie. I sometimes sand and paint pieces of furniture for fun. I believe attitude accounts for a lot, you get what you give, and if you love, like, or care about someone you should tell them (not just romantic).
Just making room for someone with similar interests and maybe has something unique to share or teach me. He doesn't mind spending a day during the weekend getting dirty outdoors just to clean up real nice for dinner, drinks, hanging around with friends, doing nothing at all, or a barbeque.
