I'm working as a software engineer working at a startup in the travel industry. My passion in life is music, and I'm a TV/movie and video game enthusiast. I play bass in two local rock bands. I have four cats that are all great, outgoing, and well-behaved. I couldn't live without a few good people in my life, my iPod, a phone, an internet connection, a car, a job, and oxygen.
I've been following a diet and have lost 25 pounds in the past half-a-year. I recently joined a gym and am supplementing my weightloss with regular exercise.
I'm originally from the Midwest, specifically the suburbs of Chicago. I attended the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign (central Illinois) and studied Computer Science. I moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2006 for work with my cat Schrodinger. I've had a number of contract jobs and am now at a permanent gig that I'm fairly happy with.
I'm interested in meeting a woman who has at least a portion of a plan for what she wants out of life. Someone who is independent; important characteristics are intelligence, a sense of humor, a unique artistic appreciation of life, practicality, and someone who doesn’t mind cats.
