Originally from New York, I moved to the Bay Area 11 years ago on a whim with nothing more than a one-way plane ticket and a suitcase. While I had only ever visited San Francisco once before and knew only one person here, it was a childhood dream of mine to move to California, so I took the leap. Within a week of being in San Francisco, I found a great job in marketing, a nice apartment, some new friends, and I guess you could say the rest is history. I guess you could also say that I'm adventurous (or at least a calculated risk-taker), independent and maybe slightly impulsive.
Eleven years later, I'm still enjoying everything the Bay Area has to offer. I still work in marketing in the wine industry, although I spent 5 years as an entrepreneur running my own event production business and planning charity, fashion, cultural and nightlife events. While I occasionally miss having my own business, I can honestly say that I've found my dream job.
I recently moved from the city to Pacifica, 3 blocks from the beach, and every weekend feels like a vacation. I'm still enjoying getting to know the area, learning to surf, walking my dog on the beach and discovering all the beautiful trails and farms, and of course, the new wine bar which opened recently.
At this point, there's really only one thing missing... and maybe that's you???
