My name's Daniel and I am brand new to the DFW area. I just moved here from Iowa on January 1st for work as I'm training to be a PDR technician in the auto industry. I don't really know many people in the area yet so I thought Match might be a good idea.
About myself:
I love music and being around musicians. I myself am a songwriter, I sing, play guitar, bass, drums and keyboard. I spent 3 years of my life traveling the midwest in a Christian rock band that I formed back in 2009 named Saved On Sunday. I really enjoy going to live music events, open mic nights and such. I also led worship at my church in Iowa for four years as well.
I love sports, especially football. I'm an avid ESPN watcher and aside from church, my Sundays involve my Cowboys jerseys and a lot of football. I grew up country on a farm in Iowa and am a strong political conservative. I love animals, art, any kind of live performance, movies, any intelligently written music of all genres, I'm a gentleman and believe women are to be treated with respect. I absolutely love the beach, maybe too much. I could literally go to the beach with a football and acoustic guitar and die a happy guy right there lol. I also love snow skiing, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, shooting and basically anything country related. I'm pretty adventurous and competitive and am very opinionated.
My Christian faith is a huge part of my life. I grew up a pastor's kid and am looking for somebody who shares similar convictions. That being said, I'm very down to Earth and not judgmental of what people do with their own lives. I figure that I was given one life, so I should enjoy and make the most of mine and not judge and condemn others'.
I'm a very confident individual and I've done a lot of living and making things happen for myself since I turned 18. My career goal is to one day own and operate a music label to help advance music artists of all types. I see my current job just a way to help make myself economically able to do what I love down the road.
I hope to somebody with conviction, is kind hearted, loves to have fun, be goofy and not care what people think. Just somebody who is comfortable in their own skin and real. I'm NOT looking for somebody overly dramatic. I'm a very chill kind of guy and I see no reason for most of it.
