I've worked hard over the past few years to build a good life for myself. I'm starting to enjoy some of the fruits of that labor, but I'm far from where I finally want to be, and I'm looking for someone to travel with for the rest of the way.
I'm a lawyer and that can take up a lot of my time, but I aspire, work permitting, to be a good mix of athlete and nerd. I'm interested in music, history, politics, good books and movies . Long discussions or friendly debates about those things, or whatever you are passionate about, are always good. Athlete-wise, I work out a few times a week and do some martial arts, which is a nice break from sitting at a desk all day.
Before I was a lawyer, I spent about eight years in the reserves, through college and law school and was deployed a few times. I joined the military for a variety of reasons, some of which were selfish, but one of which was to do something to give back to this country, which has given me and my family the opportunity to build a great life. I'd like to continue to give back, so I do some pro bono legal work and am trying to be more active in a couple of charitable organizations. If thats something you're interested in, its a definite plus.
