Hello and welcome to my life as it looks on paper. I am your basic girl next door and love the fact I grew up in rural Indiana. However, I think Indianapolis is an amazing town. Let me fill you in…Best Zoo, ever, especially at Christmas. Coolest Children’s Museum, ever! Duckpin bowling, Eagle Creek, Victory Field, The Canal, Broad Ripple, Mass Ave. and Fletcher Place are great little areas. There are plenty of mom and pop treasure spots that I can share with you later. I can’t give all my secrets away, that won’t allow for surprises in the future. Onward
So… let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a very young 40 year old and am looking forward to what the second have of my life has in store for me. I still have plenty to do on my bucket list... get married, rock climb, ride the train to Chicago, possibly have children and retire from a career I love. How bad can the second half of 80 be?
Next...What you see, is what you get, I expect the same in return! As far as characters skills, my honesty has to be my strongest gift. My love for life through laughter and my compassion for others ties for second! I am as honest as they come. My family jokes about my inability to keep a surprise. My heart is so honest and pure that somehow, I usually slip up and give the secret away. On the up side of my honesty, I have never strayed in a relationship and I don't believe in multiple dating partners.
Humor.. My humor defines me! I am a woman strong enough to laugh at myself and do quite often. I believe laughter is the best medicine and use it as a tool to help my clients. My daily goal is to make one person smile or laugh through the course of my day
My Compassion: I cry at sappy commercials. I am moved to a lump in my throat most Sunday's at church. My desire to fix the world sometimes exceeds my energy resource. I give because I can
My faith... My faith is one reason I am able to survive as an unmarried woman. Those that don't know me, are easy to cast judgment on my never been married status. However, those that know me best know that I trust there is a much greater plan for me...something better than I can ever imagine. I know every relationship, to this point, has been a lesson learned, a lesson taught and a foundation to the best days of my life. I am certain God will provide me a partner and I will one day be an amazing wife and a wonderful mother. (Sidenote: I do realize having children this close to 80, might not be best. However, loving someone unconditional is a possibility on my list. Yours, ours or theirs..it is all the same)
Likes.. I like the sound of crickets and to still chase fireflies in the summer. I totally dig a starry night and a full moon bright! The smell of a campfire, picking out a fresh Christmas tree, or hanging at the pumpkin patch are all musts in the fall and winter. Fishing off the banks and just catching the ripples of the water, is fine by me. I love to travel. One tank trips are my favorite, especially when you allow the locals to help with the site seeing destinations. Long conversations about nothing, God, quantum physics or Spongebob can almost always hold my attention! Family is a must and friends are equally important. I love green MM and Oreo Cookies. I have a warm spot for children with “opportunities”. And I find grumpy people to be funny. I often target them as my "smile" project for the day.
Recently, I have taken up jogging as a hobby. I have also found a liking to Triathlon Sprints and completed in The Warrior Dash, The Color Run, The Purdue 5k BOILER UP! and Lafayette Mud Run. I see more of both in my near future. Currently, I am training for a 5K on Thanksgiving. I enjoy jogging these event, but would enjoy your company much better. Having someone say, "Great race Honey!" Isn't something I can get at Target. I look forward to hearing from you..now and at the finish line. Blessings to you!
