I am a laid back professional that has reached the point in my career that I have time to really focus on possibly finding a relationship that will last. I am always up for trying new things. I have lived in several locales over the past years. I am originally from Ohio and definitely consider myself a Buckeye. I moved to Dallas from Atlanta about 5 years ago for work. Lived in uptown the first 2 years, then bought a house in the burbs to be closer to work. I definitely love Grapevine but it can be a bit hard to meet single people around my age out in the burbs. Although, if you live in Dallas or Fort Worth, don't let the suburban distance scare you. I live very close to DFW airport and am only 30-35 min from downtown Dallas or Ft Worth and 5 min from Lake Grapevine and walking distance to main street Grapevine and the wineries. I am very into listening to music, playing, and seeing live music when possible. I play/collect guitars and have a pretty wide CD collection. I am into buying albums and not downloading just songs. I have always felt you can tell a lot about a person from their record/cd collection. I have a somewhat sarcastic sense of humor and love a girl that can dish out as much as take humor. I really try not to sweat the small stuff in life and am looking for someone that does the same. I am addicted to Words With Friends, although I was told by a 15 year old that its "so last year". I love intellectual stuff like NPR, talking politics, or museums, but won't hesitate to sing some rock classics karaoke like Poison, Bon Jovi, Boston, and Journey. I am trying to exercise more often and would love to find someone that would like to do things like that together for dual motivation! I love people that don't take themselves too seriously. I am both a wine (although mostly red) and beer drinker. I love a great bloody mary or tequila shots. I like Thai food, pho, and sushi but love a great steak, pizza or burrito. I would rather mow my own yard and trim my own hedges rather than pay someone to do something I could do myself. While your young, work like that makes you feel like a real homeowner, although, I rethink the hiring of someone else every spring because trimming hedges is one of my most hated adult activities! lol.
