I'm fun at parties and anything involving Lego's. I am witty, funny, adventurous and kind. I'm also sarcastic, serious, intelligent, and tenderhearted. I like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. I believe in living life out loud! I'm training for a triathlon so I'm really passionate about getting to the gym 6 days a week, my trainer is passionate about kicking my butt. I really enjoy performing short-form improv, ComedySportz in particular. I'm privileged to be able to raise my daughter with love and laughter and that is always super exciting. I want to do more traveling, both local and international. I travel for work on a less than frequent but more than infrequent basis; the Chicago area most frequently. Still with me? Good! I relish spending time with family and friends as often as possible. I enjoy working out, hanging out with friends, catching events like concerts, improv/comedy shows, and festivals. I enjoy spontaneous road trips. I like to be out doing SOMETHING most of the time, preferrably outdoors. I take a lot of classes and workshops on all kinds of subjects. I enjoy listening to music of all genres, there is always music playing in the background in my life, even if only in my head. My Pandora playlist is like big hair in a tux and cowboy boots, the style range is quite impressive even if only to me. I also sing unabashedly outloud..... everywhere. Sometimes I enjoy a quiet night in with a book, though a quiet night in with good company more so. I am learning illuminated lettering. I'm writing my first romance novel a'la 50 Shades. I enjoy being outside when the weather's nice enjoying my yard, fresh air, and nature in general. Walking one of the lakes for three seasons of the year is fun too. I'm usually very warm so I freeze easily in the winter. On weekends I work on my mind control device.
The first thing people usually notice about me are my smile, hair and eyes. They usually get the compliments, especially on cloudy days or when I'm wearing green. I'm not like most girls, especially in the hips, so my sense of humor and quick wit stick out like a sore thumb. I'm stuck in high school so if I pick on you, that means I Iike you; if I don't pick on you, I still like you, I've just sensed a hole in your self-esteem. I'm rarely sitting still, some may think I have ADHD but it's just a coping mechanism to prevent boredom... squirrel.... shiny. Wanna ride a bike? I'm not the quiet, shy type unless you need me to be at a public venue or work function, etc. It typically takes about 3 seconds flat for me to decide if you're evil or not and then it's on, I'll find out if you want to play whether you like it or not.
I'm looking for someone who prefers imperfect. I'm not looking for perfect, just perfect for me. I want someone who wants the same things out of life with a side of the fairytale romance. I like cuddling and touch in general (I know, shocker, a girl who likes to hold hands and stuff in public, what?). I want someone generous. I crave fun and adventure so my ideal man will be down for that on at least a semi-regular basis. I need someone active who enjoys being busy. I want to be a good man's world but not their everything. I want someone capable of loving unconditionally and is prepared to work to keep the love alive when it gets hard.
